I entreat, I invoke, I beseech you, holy martyrs!

2 ⲁⲛⲁⲕ ⲑⲉⲱⲇⲟⲣⲁ ϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲉⲧϫⲏⲩ ⲛϭⲁⲛⲥ

I am Theōdora, the abused woman.

3 ϯϯ ⲙⲡⲓⲗⲓⲃⲉⲗⲗⲟⲥ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲁⲡϫⲟⲣ ⲙⲛⲧⲉϥⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲉⲓⲡⲱϩⲧ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲛⲙⲛⲧⲁⲅⲁⲑⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲁⲥ ⲁⲧⲉⲧⲛⲁⲣⲡⲁϩⲉⲡ ⲙⲛⲡϫⲟⲣ ⲙⲛⲧⲉϥⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ

I am making this petition concerning Pjor and his wife, prostrating myself before your goodness, so that you will pass a judgment for me against Pjor and his wife,

4 ⲧⲉⲧⲛⲡⲁⲧⲁⲥⲥⲉⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲧⲉⲧⲛϫⲟⲣⲟⲩ ⲁⲃⲁⲗ

and you (pl.) will strike them and you (pl.) will scatter them

5 ⲧⲉⲡⲥⲁϩⲟⲩ ⲧⲉⲡϥⲛⲧ ⲙⲛⲡϫⲟⲩⲣⲉ ⲁⲃⲁⲗ ⲧⲉϩⲁⲩ ⲧⲉⲧⲟⲣⲅⲏ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲧⲉϩⲟ ⲡϫⲟⲣ ⲙⲛⲧⲉϥⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲙⲛⲡⲉⲧϣⲟⲟⲡ ⲛⲁϥ ⲧⲏⲣϥ

so that the curse, so that the worm and the annihilation will befall them, and so that the wrath of God will befall Pjor and his wife and everything that belongs to him,

6 ⲧⲉⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲛⲑⲗⲓⲯⲓⲥ ⲙⲛⲟⲩⲛⲁϭ ⲛⲁϣϭⲁⲡ ϣⲱⲡⲉ ϩⲓϫⲛⲡⲉϥⲏⲓ ⲙⲛⲧⲉϥⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲛⲧϩⲉ ⲛⲧϣⲉ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲛϭⲓϫ ⲁϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲧⲉⲧϭⲓϫ ⲉⲧϫⲟⲟⲣ ⲙⲛⲡϭⲃⲁⲓ ⲉⲧϫⲁⲥⲉ ⲉⲓ ⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ϩⲓⲟⲩⲥⲟⲡ ⲛⲧⲟϥ ⲙⲛⲧⲉϥⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ

and so that a great suffering and a great outcry will be upon his house and his wife, like a blow of your hands upon [them], and so that the strong hand and the outstretched arm shall come upon them at once, he and his wife!

7 ⲙⲙⲁⲣⲧⲩⲣⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲁⲧⲉⲧⲛⲁϭⲉⲡⲏ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛⲣⲡⲁϩⲉⲡ ⲛⲉⲙⲉⲩ

O holy martyrs, you (pl.) shall hasten and enact justice for me with them,

8 ⲁⲩⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲛϭⲟⲙ ⲙⲛⲛⲉⲧⲛϣⲡⲏⲣⲉ

[so that they shall] see your powers and your wonders.

9 ⲙⲙⲁⲣⲧⲩⲣⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲁⲧⲉⲧⲛⲁⲣⲡⲁϩⲉⲡ ⲛⲉⲙⲉⲩ ⲧⲉⲡⲉⲩⲛⲕⲟ ⲗⲟϫⲉ

[O] holy martyrs, you shall pass a judgement for me [against them] so that their property is taken away!
