1 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲥⲑⲟ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲛϧⲏⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲛⲉϩⲥⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉⲁϥⲛⲉϩⲥⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗϩⲁ ⲡⲉϥϩⲓⲛⲓⲙ .
And the angel that talked with me returned, and awakened me, as when a man is awakened out of his sleep.
2 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲏⲓ ϫⲉⲟⲩ ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲉⲧⲉⲕⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲏⲓ ϫⲉⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲗⲩⲭⲛⲓⲁ ⲉⲥⲟⲓ ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲃ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲓⲗⲁⲙⲡⲁⲥ ⲥⲁⲡϣⲱⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲍ ⲛϧⲏⲃⲥ ⲥⲁⲟϣⲱⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲍ ⲛⲗⲁϧⲉⲙ ⲛⲛⲓϧⲏⲃⲥ ⲉⲧⲥⲁⲡϣⲱⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ .
And he said to me, What seest thou? And I said, I have seen, and behold a candlestick all of gold, and its bowl upon it, and seven lamps upon it, and seven oil funnels to the lamps upon it:
3 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲃⲱⲛϫⲱⲓⲧ ⲥⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲥⲁⲡϣⲱⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲓ ⲥⲁⲟⲩⲓⲛⲁⲙ ⲙⲡⲉⲥⲗⲁⲙⲡⲁⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲓ ⲥⲁϫⲁϭⲏ .
and two olive-trees above it, one on the right of the bowl, and one on the left.
4 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓϣⲓⲛⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲏⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲛϧⲏⲧ ϫⲉⲟⲩ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲡϭⲥ .
And I inquired, and spoke to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these things, my lord?
5 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲕⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉⲟⲩ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲏⲓ ϫⲉⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲡⲁϭⲥ .
And the angel that talked with me answered, and spoke to me, saying, Knowest thou not what these things are? And I said, No, my lord.
6 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲡϭⲥ ⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ϩⲁⲍⲟⲣⲟⲃⲁⲃⲉⲗ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛϫⲟⲙ ⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲛⲟⲙϯ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲁⲡⲛⲁ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡϭⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲛⲧⲟⲕⲣⲁⲧⲱⲣ .
And he answered and spoke to me, saying, This is the word of the Lord to Zorobabel, saying, Not by mighty power, nor by strength, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord Almighty.
7 ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲡⲓⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛⲧⲱⲟⲩ ⲫⲏⲉⲧϧⲁⲧϩⲏ ⲙⲡϩⲟ ⲛⲍⲟⲣⲟⲃⲁⲃⲉⲗ ⲉⲑⲣⲉϥⲥⲱⲟⲩⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲓⲉⲓⲛⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲓⲱⲛⲓ ⲛⲧⲉϯⲕⲗⲏⲣⲟⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲉⲥϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲟⲓ ⲛϩⲩⲥⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩϩⲙⲟⲧ .
Who art thou, the great mountain before Zorobabel, that thou shouldest prosper? whereas I will bring out the stone of the inheritance, the grace of it the equal of my grace.
8 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁ ⲟⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲡϭⲥ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲓ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ .
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
9 ϫⲉⲛⲉⲛϫⲓϫ ⲛⲍⲟⲣⲟⲃⲁⲃⲉⲗ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲥⲉⲛϯ ⲙⲡⲁⲏⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲉϥϫⲓϫ ⲉⲩⲉϫⲟⲕϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲭⲛⲁⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉⲡϭⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲛⲧⲟⲕⲣⲁⲧⲱⲣ ⲡⲉⲧⲁϥⲟⲩⲟⲣⲡⲧ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲕ .
The hands of Zorobabel have laid the foundation of this house, and his hands shall finish it: and thou shalt know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to thee.
10 ϫⲉⲟⲩⲏⲓ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲁϥϯϣⲱϣ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲛⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲉⲣⲁϣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲡⲓⲱⲛⲓ ⲛⲑⲣⲁⲙ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲉⲛϫⲓϫ ⲛⲍⲟⲣⲟⲃⲁⲃⲉⲗ ⲍ ⲙⲃⲁⲗ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲡϭⲥ ⲛⲏⲉⲧϫⲟⲩϣⲧ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲧⲏⲣϥ .
For who has despised the small days? surely they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet of tin in the hand of Zorobabel: these are the seven eyes that look upon all the earth.
11 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲏⲓ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲟⲩ ⲛⲉ ⲧⲁⲓⲃⲱⲛϫⲱⲓⲧ ⲥⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲥⲁⲟⲩⲓⲛⲁⲙ ⲛϯⲗⲩⲭⲛⲓⲁ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲏⲉⲧⲥⲁϫⲁϭⲏ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ .
And I answered, and said to him, What are these two olive-trees, which are on the right and left hand of the candlestick?
12 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓϣⲓⲛⲓ ⲙⲫⲙⲁϩ ⲥⲟⲡⲃ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲏⲓ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉⲟⲩ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲗⲁϧⲉⲙⲃ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲃⲱⲛϫⲱⲓⲧ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛⲛⲉⲛϫⲓϫ ⲙⲡⲓⲙⲁⲛϯⲥⲟⲗⲃ ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲃ ⲛⲏⲉⲧϫⲱϣ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲓⲛⲓ ⲉⲡϣⲱⲓ ⲛⲛⲓⲗⲁϧⲉⲙ ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲃ .
And I asked the second time, and said to him, What are the two branches of the olive-trees that are by the side of the two golden pipes that pour into and communicate with the golden oil funnels?
13 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲏⲓ ϫⲉⲕⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉⲟⲩ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲏⲓ ϫⲉⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲡⲁϭⲥ .
And he said to me, Knowest thou not what these are? and I said, No, my lord.
14 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲏⲓ ϫⲉⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲡⲓϣⲏⲣⲓⲃ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲕⲉⲛⲓ ⲥⲉⲟϩⲓ ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩⲙⲡⲉⲙⲑⲟ ⲡϭⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲙⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲧⲏⲣϥ .
And he said, These are the two anointed ones that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.
