2 ⲁⲓⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲁⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲓⲑⲉⲃⲓⲟⲓ ⲉⲙⲁϣⲱ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲁⲓϫⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲁⲧⲱⲙⲧ ϫⲉⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲥⲁⲙⲙⲉⲑⲛⲟⲩϫ ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲡⲉ ϯⲛⲁⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲛⲧϣⲉⲃⲓⲱ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲉⲑⲃⲉϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲁⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲏⲓ

I am well pleased, because the Lord will hearken to the voice of my supplication.

3 ⲉⲓⲉϭⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲫⲟⲧ ⲛⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲁⲧⲱⲃϩ ⲙⲫⲣⲁⲛ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ϯⲛⲁϯ ⲛⲛⲁⲉⲩⲭⲏ ⲙⲡⲉⲙⲑⲟ ⲙⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣϥ

Because he has inclined his ear to me, therefore will I call upon him while I live.

4 ϥⲧⲁⲓⲏⲟⲩⲧ ⲙⲡⲉⲙⲑⲟ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲛϫⲉⲫⲙⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲛⲧⲁϥ ⲱ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲕⲃⲱⲕ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲕⲃⲱⲕ ⲛⲉⲙⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲕⲃⲱⲕⲓ ⲁⲕⲥⲱⲗⲡ ⲛⲛⲁⲥⲛⲁⲩϩ ϯⲛⲁϣⲱⲧ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲛⲟⲩϣⲟⲩϣⲱⲟⲩϣⲓ ⲛⲥⲙⲟⲩ

The pangs of death compassed me; the dangers of hell found me: I found affliction and sorrow.

5 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲁⲧⲱⲃϩ ⲙⲫⲣⲁⲛ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ϯⲛⲁϯ ⲛⲛⲁⲉⲩⲭⲏ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲁⲩⲗⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲏⲓ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲙⲡⲉⲙⲑⲟ ⲙⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲙⲏϯ ⲛⲓⲉⲣⲟⲩⲥⲁⲗⲏⲙ

Then I called on the name of the Lord: O Lord, deliver my soul.
