1 ⲁⲗⲗⲏⲗⲟⲩⲓⲁ

2 ⲁⲓⲉⲣⲁⲅⲁⲡⲁⲛ ϫⲉϥⲛⲁⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲛϫⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲉⲧⲥⲙⲏ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲁϯϩⲟ ϫⲉⲁϥⲣⲓⲕⲓ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲙⲁϣϫ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛϩⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲓⲧⲱⲃϩ ⲙⲙⲟϥ

Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to thy name give glory, because of thy mercy and thy truth;

3 ϫⲉⲁⲩⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲓⲛⲁⲕϩⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲙⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲕⲩⲛⲇⲓⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲁⲙⲉⲛϯ ⲡⲉⲧⲁⲩϫⲉⲙⲧ

lest at any time the nations should say, Where is their God?

4 ⲟⲩϩⲟϫϩⲉϫ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲙⲕⲁϩ ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲡⲉⲧⲁⲓϫⲉⲙⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓⲧⲱⲃϩ ⲙⲫⲣⲁⲛ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲱ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲛⲟϩⲉⲙ ⲛⲧⲁⲩⲭⲏ

But our God has done in heaven and on earth, whatsoever he has pleased.

5 ⲟⲩⲛⲁⲏⲧ ⲡⲉ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϯ ϣⲁϥⲛⲁⲓ

The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the works of men's hands.

6 ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉⲛⲓⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲛⲁⲗⲱⲟⲩⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲁⲓⲑⲉⲃⲓⲟⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲛⲁϩⲙⲉⲧ

They have a mouth, but they cannot speak; they have eyes, but they cannot see:

7 ⲕⲟⲧϯ ⲧⲁⲩⲭⲏ ⲉⲡⲉⲙⲁ ⲛⲉⲙⲧⲟⲛ ϫⲉⲁ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲉⲣⲡⲉⲑⲛⲁⲛⲉϥ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲛⲟϩⲉⲙ ⲛⲧⲁⲩⲭⲏ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲫⲙⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲁⲃⲁⲗ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁϩⲁⲛⲉⲣⲙⲱⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲁϭⲁⲗⲁⲩϫ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲥⲗⲁϯ

they have ears, but they cannot hear; they have noses, but they cannot smell;

8 ⲉⲓⲉⲣⲁⲛⲁϥ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲙⲑⲟ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲭⲱⲣⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲟⲛϧ

they have hands, but they cannot handle; they have feet, but they cannot walk: they cannot speak through their throat.
