2 ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲙⲡⲉⲣⲭⲁⲣⲱⲕ ⲉⲡⲁⲥⲙⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲣⲱϥ ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲣⲱϥ ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲭⲣⲟϥ
For the end, a Psalm of David. O God, pass not over my praise in silence;
3 ⲁⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲥⲱⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲗⲁⲥ ⲛⲭⲣⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲕⲱϯ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ϧⲉⲛϩⲁⲛⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲥϯ ⲁⲩⲃⲱⲧⲥ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⲛϫⲓⲛϫⲏ
for the mouth of the sinner and the mouth of the crafty man have been opened against me: they have spoken against me with a crafty tongue.
4 ⲉⲫⲙⲁ ⲛⲧⲟⲩⲙⲉⲛⲣⲓⲧ ⲁⲩϯϣⲑⲟⲩⲓⲧ ϧⲁⲣⲟⲓ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲓϯ ⲛⲧⲁⲡⲣⲟⲥⲉⲩⲭⲏ
And they have compassed me with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.
5 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲥⲉⲙⲛⲓ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲡⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⲛⲧϣⲉⲃⲓⲱ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲡⲉⲑⲛⲁⲛⲉⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲙⲟⲥϯ ⲛⲧϣⲉⲃⲓⲱ ⲙⲡⲁⲙⲉⲓ
Instead of loving me, they falsely accused me: but I continued to pray.
6 ⲉⲕⲉⲭⲱ ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲱϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲁⲣⲉ ⲡⲓⲇⲓⲁⲃⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲟϩⲓ ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⲥⲁⲟⲩⲓⲛⲁⲙ ⲙⲙⲟϥ
And they rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
7 ϧⲉⲛⲡϫⲓⲛⲑⲣⲟⲩϯϩⲁⲡ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲉϥⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲁⲩϩⲓⲧϥ ⲉⲡϩⲁⲡ
Set thou a sinner against him; and let the devil stand at his right hand.
8 ⲧⲉϥⲡⲣⲟⲥⲉⲩⲭⲏ ⲉⲥⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲩⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲉϥⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲉⲉⲣⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲧⲉϥⲙⲉⲧⲉⲡⲓⲥⲕⲟⲡⲟⲥ ⲙⲁⲣⲉ ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ϭⲓⲧⲥ ⲛⲉϥϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲉⲩⲉⲉⲣ ⲟⲣⲫⲁⲛⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲉϥⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲉⲥⲉⲉⲣⲭⲏⲣⲁ
When he is judged, let him go forth condemned: and let his prayer become sin.
9 ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩⲕⲓⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲥⲉⲟⲩⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲉϥϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲥⲉϣⲁⲧ ⲙⲉⲑⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲩⲉϩⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩⲙⲁⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲓⲇⲁⲛⲓⲥⲧⲏⲥ ϧⲉⲧϧⲉⲧ ⲉⲛⲭⲁⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ⲛⲁϥ
Let his days be few: and let another take his office of overseer.
10 ϩⲁⲛϣⲉⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲉϩⲱⲗⲉⲙ ⲛⲛⲉϥϧⲓⲥⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲉϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛϫⲉⲟⲩⲣⲉϥϯⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲛⲉ ⲣⲉϥϣⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲟⲣⲫⲁⲛⲟⲥ
Let his children be orphans, and his wife a widow.
11 ⲛⲉϥϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲉⲩⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲡϥⲱϯ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ
Let his children wander without a dwelling-place, and beg: let them be cast out of their habitations.
12 ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥϥⲱϯ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ ⲉⲩⲉⲉⲣⲫⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲛϯⲁⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲉϥⲓⲟϯ ⲙⲡⲉⲙⲑⲟ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ
Let his creditor exact all that belongs to him: and let strangers spoil his labours.
13 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉϥⲙⲁⲩ ⲛⲛⲉϥϥⲱϯ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉϥⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙⲡⲉⲙⲑⲟ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲛⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲟⲩⲉⲣⲫⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲉϥⲉϥⲱϯ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲉⲫⲙⲁ ϫⲉⲙⲡⲉϥⲉⲣⲫⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲉⲓⲣⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲛⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϭⲟϫⲓ ⲛⲥⲁⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛϩⲏⲕⲓ ⲛϫⲱⲃ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲉϥⲙⲟⲕϩ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉϥϩⲏⲧ ⲉⲡϫⲓⲛϧⲟⲑⲃⲉϥ
Let him have no helper; neither let there be any one to have compassion on his fatherless children.
14 ⲁϥⲙⲉⲛⲣⲉ ⲡⲓⲥⲁϩⲟⲩⲓ ⲉϥⲉⲓ ⲛⲁϥ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲡⲓⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉϥⲉⲟⲩⲉⲓ ⲥⲁⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲙⲟϥ
Let his children be given up to utter destruction: in one generation let his name be blotted out.
15 ⲁϥϫⲟⲗϩϥ ⲙⲡⲥⲁϩⲟⲩⲓ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲟⲩϩⲃⲱⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϣⲉ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲛⲉϥⲙⲁϧⲧ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲟⲩⲛⲉϩ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲉϥⲕⲁⲥ
Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered before the Lord; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
16 ⲉϥⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲁϥ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲟⲩϩⲃⲱⲥ ⲉϣⲁϥϫⲟⲗϩϥ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲉⲙⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲟϫϧ ⲉϣⲁϥⲙⲟⲣϥ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ
Let them be before the Lord continually; and let their memorial be blotted out from the earth.
17 ⲫⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϯ ϣⲑⲟⲩⲓⲧ ϧⲁⲣⲟⲓ ϧⲁⲧⲉⲛⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲡⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ ϧⲁⲧⲁⲩⲭⲏ
Because he remembered not to shew mercy, but persecuted the needy and poor man, and that to slay him that was pricked in the heart.
18 ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲡⲁⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲁⲣⲓ ⲟⲩⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲏⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲡⲉⲕⲣⲁⲛ ϫⲉⲟⲩⲏⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲟⲩⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲕⲛⲁⲓ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ
He loved cursing also, and it shall come upon him; and he took not pleasure in blessing, so it shall be removed far from him.
19 ⲛⲁϩⲙⲉⲧ ϫⲉⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲟⲩϩⲏⲕⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛϫⲱⲃ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲁϩⲏⲧ ⲁϥⲑⲟϩ ⲥⲁϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ
Yea, he put on cursing as a garment, and it is come as water into his bowels, and as oil into his bones.
20 ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲟⲩϧⲏⲓⲃⲓ ⲉⲥⲣⲁⲕⲓ ⲁⲓϥⲱϯ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲩⲛⲟϣⲡⲧ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛϩⲁⲛϣϫⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲕⲉⲗⲓ ⲁⲩϣⲱⲛⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲛϯⲛⲏⲥⲧⲓⲁ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲁⲥⲁⲣ ⲁⲥϣⲓⲃϯ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲁⲑⲛⲉϩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲁⲓϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲩϣⲱϣ
Let it be to him as a garment which he puts on, and as a girdle with which he girds himself continually.
21 ⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲕⲓⲙ ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲁⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲁⲣⲓⲃⲟⲏⲑⲓⲛ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲡⲁⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁϩⲙⲉⲧ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲡⲉⲕⲛⲁⲓ ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉⲑⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ⲧⲉⲕϫⲓϫ ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲁⲕⲑⲁⲙⲓⲟⲥ
This is the dealing of the Lord with those who falsely accuse me, and of them that speak evil against my soul.
22 ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲉⲥⲁϩⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲕⲉⲥⲙⲟⲩ
But thou, O Lord, Lord, deal mercifully with me, for thy name's sake: for thy mercy is good.
23 ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩϭⲓϣⲓⲡⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲱⲓ ⲡⲉⲕⲃⲱⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲉϥⲉⲟⲩⲛⲟϥ ⲙⲙⲟϥ
Deliver me, for I am poor and needy; and my heart is troubled within me.
24 ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩϯϩⲓⲱⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲟⲩϣⲫⲓⲧ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϯϣⲑⲟⲩⲓⲧ ϧⲁⲣⲟⲓ ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩϫⲟⲗϩⲟⲩ ⲙⲡϣⲓⲡⲓ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲟⲩⲇⲓⲡⲗⲟⲓⲥ
I am removed as a shadow in its going down: I am tossed up and down like locusts.
25 ϯⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲉⲙⲁϣⲱ ϧⲉⲛⲣⲱⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲙⲏϯ ⲧⲙⲏϯ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ϯⲛⲁⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲟⲕ
My knees are weakened through fasting, and my flesh is changed by reason of the want of oil.
26 ϫⲉⲁϥⲟϩⲓ ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⲥⲁⲟⲩⲓⲛⲁⲙ ⲙⲡⲓϩⲏⲕⲓ ⲉⲡϫⲓⲛⲛⲟϩⲉⲙ ⲛⲧⲁⲩⲭⲏ ⲛⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϭⲟϫⲓ ⲛⲥⲱⲓ
I became also a reproach to them: when they saw me they shook their heads.
