…
2 ⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡϫⲟⲓⲥ ϫⲉⲟⲩⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ ϫⲉⲡⲉϥⲛⲁⲓ ϣⲟⲡ ϣⲁⲉⲛⲉϩ
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his mercy endures for ever.
3 ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩϫⲟⲥ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲱϯ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲥⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲧϫⲓϫ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩϫⲁϫⲓ
Let them say so who have been redeemed by the Lord, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
4 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲑⲟⲩⲱⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲭⲱⲣⲁ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲙⲁⲛϣⲁⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲙⲁⲛϩⲱⲧⲡ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲉⲙϩⲓⲧ ⲛⲉⲙⲫⲓⲟⲙ
and gathered them out of the countries, from the east, and west, and north, and south.
5 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲥⲱⲣⲉⲙ ϩⲓⲡϣⲁϥⲉ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲁ ⲛⲁⲧⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲡⲟⲩϫⲉⲙ ⲫⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲉⲧⲃⲁⲕⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲁⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ
They wandered in the wilderness in a dry land; they found no way to a city of habitation.
6 ⲉⲩϩⲟⲕⲉⲣ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲟⲃⲓ ⲁⲥⲙⲟⲩⲛⲕ ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲧⲟⲩⲩⲭⲏ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲱϣ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ϩⲁⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲡϫⲓⲛⲧⲟⲩϩⲟϫϩⲉϫ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲛⲁϩⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩⲁⲛⲁⲅⲕⲏ
Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
7 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϭⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲉϥⲥⲟⲩⲧⲱⲛ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩϣⲉ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲟⲩⲃⲁⲕⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲟⲩⲙⲁⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲉϥⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲉϥϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲛⲓϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ
Then they cried to the Lord in their affliction, and he delivered them out of their distresses.
8 ϫⲉⲁϥⲧⲥⲓⲟ ⲛⲟⲩⲩⲭⲏ ⲉⲥϣⲟⲩⲓⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲩⲭⲏ ⲉⲥϩⲟⲕⲉⲣ ⲁϥⲧⲥⲓⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲅⲁⲑⲟⲛ
And he guided them into a straight path, that they might go to a city of habitation.
9 ⲉⲩϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲭⲁⲕⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲧϧⲏⲓⲃⲓ ⲙⲫⲙⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲥⲱⲛϩ ϧⲉⲛⲑⲙⲉⲧϩⲏⲕⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲫⲃⲉⲛⲓⲡⲓ
Let them acknowledge to the Lord his mercies, and his wonderful works to the children of men.
10 ϫⲉⲁⲩϯϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲛⲛⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲥⲟϭⲛⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉⲧϭⲟⲥⲓ ⲁⲩϯϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲛⲁϥ
For he satisfies the empty soul, and fills the hungry soul with good things,
11 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲑⲉⲃⲓⲟ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲟⲩϩⲏⲧ ϧⲉⲛϩⲁⲛϧⲓⲥⲓ ⲁⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁϥϣⲟⲡ ⲁⲛ ⲛϫⲉⲫⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲉⲣⲃⲟⲏⲑⲓⲛ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ
even them that sit in darkness and the shadow of death, fettered in poverty and iron;
12 ⲁⲩⲱϣ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ϩⲁⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲉⲡϫⲓⲛⲧⲟⲩϩⲟϫϩⲉϫ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲛⲁϩⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩⲁⲛⲁⲅⲕⲏ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲉⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲭⲁⲕⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲧϧⲏⲓⲃⲓ ⲙⲫⲙⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲛⲁⲩϩ ⲁϥⲥⲟⲗⲡⲟⲩ
because they rebelled against the words of God, and provoked the counsel of the Most High.
13 ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲉϥⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲉϥϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲛⲓϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ
So their heart was brought low with troubles; they were weak, and there was no helper.
14 ϫⲉⲁϥϧⲟⲙϧⲉⲙ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲡⲩⲗⲏ ⲛϩⲟⲙⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϩⲁⲛⲙⲟⲭⲗⲟⲩⲥ ⲙⲃⲉⲛⲓⲡⲓ ⲁϥⲕⲁϣⲟⲩ
Then they cried to the Lord in their affliction, and he saved them out of their distresses.
15 ⲁϥⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲫⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲛⲟⲩⲁⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲩⲑⲉⲃⲓⲟ ϧⲣⲉ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲁ ⲧⲟⲩⲩⲭⲏ ϭⲓⲃⲟϯ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϧⲱⲛⲧ ϣⲁⲉϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲉⲛⲓⲡⲩⲗⲏ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲙⲟⲩ
And he brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their bonds asunder.
16 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲱϣ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ϩⲁⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲡϫⲓⲛⲧⲟⲩϩⲟϫϩⲉϫ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲛⲁϩⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩⲁⲛⲁⲅⲕⲏ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲟⲩⲟ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲗϭⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲛⲁϩⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲟⲩⲧⲁⲕⲟ
Let them acknowledge to the Lord his mercies, and his wonders to the children of men.
17 ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲉϥⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲉϥϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲛⲓϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩϣⲱⲧ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛⲟⲩϣⲟⲩϣⲱⲟⲩϣⲓ ⲛⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲛⲛⲉϥϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲑⲉⲗⲏⲗ
For he broke to pieces the brazen gates, and crushed the iron bars.
18 ⲛⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲁ ⲉϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲉⲫⲓⲟⲙ ϧⲉⲛϩⲁⲛⲉϫⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲓⲣⲓ ⲛⲧⲟⲩϫⲓⲛⲉⲣϩⲱⲃ ϧⲉⲛϩⲁⲛⲙⲏϣ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ
He helped them out of the way of their iniquity; for they were brought low because of their iniquities.
19 ϫⲉⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲛⲓϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲉϥϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲫⲛⲟⲩⲛ
Their soul abhorred all meat; and they drew near to the gates of death.
20 ⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲟϩⲓ ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⲛϫⲉⲟⲩⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁ ⲛⲥⲁⲣⲁⲑⲏⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϭⲓⲥⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲉϥϫⲟⲗ
Then they cried to the Lord in their affliction, and he saved them out of their distresses.
21 ⲥⲉⲛⲁ ⲉⲡⲱϣⲓ ϣⲁⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲉⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ϣⲁⲉϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲉⲛⲓⲛⲟⲩⲛ ⲧⲟⲩⲩⲭⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲥⲃⲏⲗ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛϩⲁⲛⲡⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲩϣⲑⲟⲣⲧⲉⲣ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲕⲓⲙ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲑⲁϧⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥⲱⲙⲥ ⲛϫⲉⲧⲟⲩⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ
He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them out of their destructions.
22 ⲁⲩⲱϣ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ϩⲁⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲉⲡϫⲓⲛⲧⲟⲩϩⲟϫϩⲉϫ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲉⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩⲁⲛⲁⲅⲕⲏ ⲁϥϣⲁⲣⲓ ϧⲉⲛϯⲥⲁⲣⲁⲑⲏⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϩⲣⲟⲩⲣ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲭⲁⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲉϥϫⲟⲗ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲛⲟϥ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲁⲩⲭⲁⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϭⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⲙⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉⲧⲉϩⲛⲁϥ
Let them acknowledge to the Lord his mercies, and his wonderful works to the children of men.
23 ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲉϥⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲉϥϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲛⲓϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ
And let them offer to him the sacrifice of praise, and proclaim this works with exultation.
24 ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩϭⲁⲥϥ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉϥⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϩⲓⲧⲕⲁⲑⲉⲇⲣⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ
They that go down to the sea in ships, doing business in many waters;
25 ⲁϥⲭⲱ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲓⲁⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲟⲩϣⲁϥⲉ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲙⲁ ⲙⲙⲟϣⲓ ⲛⲧⲉϩⲁⲛⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲓⲃⲓ
these men have seen the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep.
26 ⲟⲩⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲙⲙⲁⲥⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ ⲁϥⲭⲁϥ ⲉⲟⲩϩⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲕⲁⲕⲓⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ϩⲓⲱⲧϥ ⲁϥⲭⲱ ⲛⲟⲩϣⲁϥⲉ ⲉϩⲁⲛⲗⲩⲙⲛⲏ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲛⲁⲧⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉϩⲁⲛⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲧⲉϩⲁⲛⲙⲱⲟⲩ
He speaks, and the stormy wind arises, and its waves are lifted up.
27 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲉⲩϩⲟⲕⲉⲣ ⲁϥⲑⲣⲟⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲧⲁϩⲟ ⲛⲟⲩⲃⲁⲕⲓ ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲟⲩⲙⲁⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ
They go up to the heavens, and go down to the depths; their soul melts because of troubles.
28 ⲁⲩⲥⲓϯ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲓⲟϩⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϭⲟ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲓⲁϩⲁⲗⲟⲗⲓ ⲁⲩⲓⲣⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ ⲛⲧⲉⲟⲩⲅⲉⲛⲏⲙⲁ
They are troubled, they stagger as a drunkard, and all their wisdom is swallowed up.
29 ⲁϥⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲁϣⲁⲓ ⲉⲙⲁϣⲱ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉⲃⲛⲱⲟⲩⲓ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲉⲣⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ
Then they cry to the Lord in their affliction, and he brings them out of their distresses.
30 ⲁⲩⲉⲣⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲧϩⲉⲙⲕⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡϩⲟϫϩⲉϫ ⲛⲧⲉϩⲁⲛⲡⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲉⲙⲕⲁϩ ⲛϩⲏⲧ
And he commands the storm, and it is calmed into a gentle breeze, and its waves are still.
31 ⲡϣⲱϣ ⲁϥϫⲱϣ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⲁϥⲥⲟⲣⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲁ ⲛⲁⲧⲙⲟϣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲁⲛ
And they are glad, because they are quiet; and he guides them to their desire haven.
32 ⲁϥⲉⲣⲃⲟⲏⲑⲓⲛ ⲉⲟⲩϩⲏⲕⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧϩⲏⲕⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲭⲱ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲓⲱⲧ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲉⲥⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲥⲟⲩⲧⲱⲛ ⲉⲩⲉⲟⲩⲛⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲩⲉⲑⲱⲙ ⲛⲣⲱⲟⲩ
Let them acknowledge to the Lord his mercies, and his wonderful works to the children of men.
33 ⲛⲓⲙ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲥⲁⲃⲉ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉⲛⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲥⲉⲕⲁϯ ⲉⲛⲓⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ
Let them exalt him in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the seat of the elders.
