Give thanks to the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endures for ever.

3 ⲟⲱⲩⲛⲓⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉⲡϩⲁⲡ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲓⲣⲓ ⲛϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲛⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ

Who shall tell the mighty acts of the Lord? who shall cause all his praises to be heard?

4 ⲁⲣⲓⲡⲉⲛⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲡϯⲙⲁϯ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉⲕⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϫⲉⲙⲡⲉⲛϣⲓⲛⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉⲕⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ

Blessed are they that keep judgment, and do righteousness at all times.

Remember us, O Lord, with the favour thou hast to thy people: visit us with thy salvation;

6 ⲛⲉⲛⲓⲟϯ ⲉⲩⲭⲏ ϧⲉⲛⲭⲏⲙⲓ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲕⲁϯ ⲉⲛⲉⲕϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲉⲣⲫⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲙⲡⲁϣⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉⲕⲛⲁⲓ

that we may behold the good of thine elect, that we may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that we may glory with thine inheritance.

7 ⲁⲩϯϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲉⲩⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲟⲙ ⲛϣⲁⲣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲛⲁϩⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ ⲉⲡϫⲓⲛⲧⲉϥⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲛⲧⲉϥϫⲟⲙ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ

We have sinned with our fathers, we have transgressed, we have done unrighteously.

8 ⲁϥⲉⲣⲉⲡⲓⲧⲓⲙⲁⲛ ⲙⲫⲓⲟⲙ ⲛϣⲁⲣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϣⲱⲟⲩⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϭⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲫⲛⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ϩⲓⲡϣⲁϥⲉ

Our fathers in Egypt understood not thy wonders, and remembered not the multitude of thy mercy; but provoked him as they went up by the Red Sea.

9 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲛⲁϩⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲑⲙⲟⲥϯ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲥⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲧϫⲓϫ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩϫⲁϫⲓ

Yet he saved them for his name's sake, that he might cause his mighty power to be known.

10 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲁϥϩⲱⲃⲥ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϩⲟϫϩⲉϫ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲡⲉϥⲥⲱϫⲡ

And he rebuked the Red Sea, and it was dried up: so he led them through the deep as through the wilderness.

11 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲛⲁϩϯ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉϥⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϩⲱⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉϥⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲭⲱⲗⲉⲙ ⲁⲩⲉⲣⲡⲱⲃϣ ⲛⲛⲉϥϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲛⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉϥⲥⲟϭⲛⲓ ⲁⲩⲉⲣⲉⲡⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓⲛ ⲉⲟⲩⲉⲡⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓⲁ ϩⲓⲡϣⲁϥⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲉⲣⲡⲓⲣⲁⲍⲓⲛ ⲙⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲁ ⲛⲁⲧⲙⲱⲟⲩ

And he saved them out of the hand of them that hated them, and redeemed them out of the hand of the enemy.

12 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϯ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲙⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲉⲣⲉⲧⲓⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲟⲩⲟ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩⲩⲭⲏ

The water covered those that oppressed them: there was not one of them left.

13 ⲁⲩⲑⲣⲉ ⲙⲱⲩⲥⲏⲥ ϫⲱⲛⲧ ϧⲉⲛϯⲡⲁⲣⲉⲙⲃⲟⲗⲏ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲁⲣⲱⲛ ⲡⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲛⲧⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ

Then they believed his words, and celebrated his praise.

14 ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲛⲣⲱϥ ⲁϥⲱⲙⲕ ⲛⲇⲁⲑⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϩⲱⲃⲥ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲧⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲏ ⲛⲁⲃⲓⲣⲱⲛ ⲟⲩⲭⲣⲱⲙ ⲁϥⲙⲟϩ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲟⲩⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲏ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩϣⲁϩ ⲁϥⲧϩⲉⲙⲙⲟ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓ

They made haste, they forgot his works; they waited not for his counsel.

15 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲑⲁⲙⲓⲟ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲁⲥⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲭⲱⲣⲏⲃ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⲛⲛⲓⲙⲟⲛⲕ ⲛϫⲓϫ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϣⲓⲃϯ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲱⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲓⲛⲓ ⲙⲙⲁⲥⲓ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲉⲙ ⲥⲱⲟⲩⲃⲉⲛ ⲁⲩⲉⲣⲡⲱⲃϣ ⲙⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲟϩⲉⲙ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲓⲣⲓ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲙⲉⲧⲛⲓϣϯ ϧⲉⲛⲭⲏⲙⲓ ⲛⲉⲙϩⲁⲛϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲛⲭⲁⲙ ⲛⲉⲙϩⲁⲛϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲉⲩⲟⲓ ⲛϩⲟϯ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲫⲓⲟⲙ ⲛϣⲁⲣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⲉⲡϫⲓⲛϥⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲃⲏⲗ ϫⲉⲁ ⲙⲱⲩⲥⲏⲥ ⲡⲓⲥⲱⲧⲡ ⲛⲧⲁϥ ⲟϩⲓ ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲙⲑⲟ ⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓϧⲟⲙϧⲉⲙ ⲉⲡϫⲓⲛⲧⲁⲥⲑⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁⲡⲉⲙⲃⲟⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉϥϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲉϣⲧⲉⲙϥⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ

And they lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the dry land.

16 ⲁⲩϣⲱϣϥ ⲛⲟⲩⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲛϣⲟⲩⲉⲣⲉⲡⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓⲛ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲡⲉϥⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲭⲣⲉⲙⲣⲉⲙ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩⲙⲁⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲛⲥⲁϯⲥⲙⲏ ⲛⲧⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ

And he gave them their request, and sent fullness into their souls.

17 ⲁϥϥⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲉϥϫⲓϫ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲡϫⲓⲛⲣⲁϧⲧⲟⲩ ϩⲓⲡϣⲁϥⲉ ⲛⲉⲙⲉⲣⲱϧⲧ ⲙⲡⲟⲩϫⲣⲟϫ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲉϫⲟⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲭⲱⲣⲁ

They provoked Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the holy one of the Lord.

18 ⲁⲩϫⲱⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲃⲉⲗⲫⲉⲅⲱⲣ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱⲙ ϣⲟⲩϣⲱⲟⲩϣⲓ ⲛⲣⲉϥⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ

The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and closed upon the congregation of Abiron.

19 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϯϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲛⲁϥ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲁϣⲁⲓ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓϩⲉⲓ

And a fire was kindled in their congregation, and a flame burnt up the sinners.

20 ⲁϥⲟϩⲓ ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⲛϫⲉⲫⲓⲛⲉⲉⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲛⲁϩⲙⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϩⲉⲣⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓϧⲟⲙϧⲉⲙ ⲁⲩⲟⲡⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉⲩⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ϫⲱⲟⲩ ϣⲁϫⲱⲟⲩ ϣⲁⲉⲛⲉϩ

And they made a calf in Choreb, and worshipped the graven image,

21 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϯϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲛⲁϥ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲛⲧⲓⲗⲟⲅⲓⲁ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲧϩⲉⲙⲕⲟ ⲛϫⲉⲙⲱⲩⲥⲏⲥ ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧⲟⲩ ϫⲉⲁⲩϯϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁ

and they changed their glory into the similitude of a calf that feeds on grass.

22 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲫⲱⲣϭ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲉϥⲥⲫⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲛⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ

They forgot God that saved them, who had wrought great deeds in Egypt;

23 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲙⲟⲩϫⲧ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲧⲥⲁⲃⲟ ⲉⲛⲟⲩϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲉⲣⲃⲱⲕ ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲙⲟⲛⲕ ⲛϫⲓϫ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲕⲁⲛⲇⲁⲗⲟⲛ

wondrous works in the land of Cham, and terrible things at the Red Sea.

24 ⲁⲩϣⲱⲧ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲛⲟⲩϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲟⲩϣⲉⲣⲓ ⲛⲛⲓⲓϧ

So he said that he would have destroyed them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn him away from the fierceness of his anger, so that he should not destroy them.

25 ⲁⲫⲱⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲛⲁⲧⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲛⲛⲟⲩϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲟⲩϣⲉⲣⲓ ⲁⲩϣⲱⲧ ⲛⲛⲓⲙⲟⲛⲕ ⲛϫⲓϫ ⲛⲧⲉⲭⲁⲛⲁⲁⲛ

Moreover they set at nought the desirable land, and believed not his word.

26 ⲁϥⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓϧⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⲛⲉⲙϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲥⲛⲱϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲥⲱϥ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲁⲩⲉⲣⲡⲟⲣⲛⲉⲩⲓⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ

And they murmured in their tents: they hearkened not to the voice of the Lord.

27 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϫⲱⲛⲧ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲃⲟⲛ ⲛϫⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲡⲉϥⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲥⲱϥ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲕⲗⲏⲣⲟⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲧⲏⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲉϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲉⲛⲉⲛϫⲓϫ ⲛⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ

So he lifted up his hand against them, to cast them down in the wilderness;

28 ⲁⲩⲉⲣϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲑⲙⲟⲥϯ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϩⲉϫϩⲱϫⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲟⲩϫⲁϫⲓ ⲁⲩⲑⲉⲃⲓⲟ ϧⲁⲛⲟⲩϫⲓϫ

and to cast down their seed among the nations, and to scatter them in the countries.

29 ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲛⲥⲟⲡ ⲁϥⲛⲁϩⲙⲟⲩ ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩϯϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲛⲁϥ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩⲥⲟϭⲛⲓ ⲁⲩⲑⲉⲃⲓⲟ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩⲁⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ

They were joined also to Beelphegor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead. And they provoked him with their devices;

30 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲉⲡϫⲓⲛⲧⲟⲩϩⲟϫϩⲉϫ ϧⲉⲛⲡϫⲓⲛⲧⲉϥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲉⲡⲟⲩϯϩⲟ

and destruction, was multiplied among them.

31 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲫⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲇⲓⲁⲑⲏⲕⲏ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲛϩⲑⲏϥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲡⲁϣⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉϥⲛⲁⲓ ⲁϥⲧⲏⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲙⲉⲧϣⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲙⲡⲉⲙⲑⲟ ⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲉⲣⲉⲭⲙⲁⲗⲱⲧⲉⲩⲓⲛ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ

Then Phinees stood up, and made atonement: and the plague ceased.

32 ⲛⲁϩⲙⲉⲛ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲡⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲁⲑⲟⲩⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲉⲡϫⲓⲛⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲉⲕⲣⲁⲛ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉⲛϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉⲕⲥⲙⲟⲩ

And it was counted to him for righteousness, to all generations for ever.

They provoked him also at the water of Strife, and Moses was hurt for their sakes;
