1 ⲛⲧⲉⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ ⲙⲡⲇ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲥⲁⲃⲃⲁⲧⲟⲛ

2 ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲛⲓϭⲓⲙⲡϣⲓϣ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲛⲓϭⲓⲙⲡϣⲓϣ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲟⲛϩϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϭⲓⲥⲓ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲁϯϩⲁⲡ ⲉⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲙⲟⲓ ⲛⲟⲩϣⲉⲃⲓⲱ ⲛⲛⲓⲣⲉϥϩⲓⲡϩⲟ ϣⲁⲧⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲛⲓⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓ ϣⲁⲧⲛⲁⲩ ⲛⲓⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲛⲁϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ

The Lord is a God of vengeance; the God of vengeance has declared himself.

3 ⲉⲩⲉⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲉⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧϭⲓⲛϫⲟⲛⲥ ⲉⲩⲉⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲣϩⲱⲃ ⲉϯⲁⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ

Be thou exalted, thou that judgest the earth: render a reward to the proud.

4 ⲡⲉⲕⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲁⲩⲑⲉⲃⲓⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲣⲟⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ ⲁⲩϯⲙⲕⲁϩ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲁⲩϧⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⲛⲟⲩⲭⲏⲣⲁ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲟⲣⲫⲁⲛⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϧⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⲛⲟⲩϣⲉⲙⲙⲟ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉϥⲛⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲛϫⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲕⲁϯ ⲛϫⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃ

How long shall sinners, O Lord, how long shall sinners boast?

5 ⲕⲁϯ ϫⲉⲛⲓⲁⲧϩⲏⲧ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲓⲥⲟϫ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϫⲉⲙϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲧⲛⲁⲩ

They will utter and speak unrighteousness; all the workers of iniquity will speak so.

6 ⲙⲏ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲧⲱϫⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲙⲁϣϫ ϥⲛⲁⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲁⲛ ⲓⲉ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲙⲟⲩⲛⲕ ⲙⲡⲓⲃⲁⲗ ϥⲛⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⲁⲛ

They have afflicted thy people, O Lord, and hurt thine heritage.

7 ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ϥⲛⲁⲥⲟϩⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲙⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉⲡⲓⲉⲙⲓ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲛⲓⲙⲟⲕⲙⲉⲕ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ϫⲉϩⲉⲛⲉⲫⲗⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲉ

They have slain the widow and fatherless, and murdered the stranger.

8 ⲟⲱⲩⲛⲓⲁⲧϥ ⲙⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲫⲏ ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲉⲧⲉⲕⲛⲁϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲁϥ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉⲕⲧⲥⲁⲃⲟϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉⲕⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ

And they said, The Lord shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob understand.

9 ⲉⲡϫⲓⲛϯ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲣⲉⲙⲣⲁⲩϣ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁϩⲁⲛⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲩϩⲱⲟⲩ ϣⲁⲧⲟⲩϣⲱⲕ ⲙⲡⲓϣⲓⲕ ⲙⲡⲓⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓ ϫⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲛⲁϩⲓⲟⲩⲓ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲛⲥⲱϥ ⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲥⲱϫⲡ ⲛⲧⲉϥⲕⲗⲏⲣⲟⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ ϣⲁⲧⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲕⲟⲧⲥ ⲉⲫϩⲁⲡ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛⲧ ⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲥⲟⲩⲧⲱⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲟⲩϩⲏⲧ

Understand now, ye simple among the people; and ye fools, at length be wise.

10 ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲑⲛⲁϣⲧⲱⲛϥ ⲛⲉⲙⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲛⲓⲥⲁⲙⲡⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲓⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲛⲁϣⲟϩⲓ ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⲛⲉⲙⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲣϩⲱⲃ ⲉϯⲁⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ

He that planted the ear, does he not hear? or he that formed the eye, does not he perceive?

11 ⲉⲃⲏⲗ ϫⲉⲁ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲉⲣⲃⲟⲏⲑⲓⲛ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ϣⲁⲧⲉⲛⲕⲉⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲧⲁⲩⲭⲏ ϧⲉⲛⲁⲙⲉⲛϯ ⲛⲁⲓϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲁⲥⲕⲓⲙ ⲛϫⲉⲧⲁϭⲁⲗⲟϫ

He that chastises the heathen, shall not he punish, even he that teaches man knowledge?

12 ⲡⲉⲕⲛⲁⲓ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲃⲟⲏⲑⲓⲛ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲡⲁϣⲁⲓ ⲛⲛⲓⲙⲕⲁϩ ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛⲡⲁϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲉⲕϯⲛⲟⲙϯ ⲁⲩⲉⲣⲁⲅⲁⲡⲁⲛ ⲛⲧⲁⲩⲭⲏ

The Lord knows the thoughts of men, that they are vain.

13 ⲙⲏ ϥⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲕ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲉϯⲁⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲑⲙⲟⲛⲕ ⲛⲟⲩϧⲓⲥⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲟⲩⲁϩⲥⲁϩⲛⲓ

Blessed is the man whomsoever thou shalt chasten, O Lord, and shalt teach him out of thy law;

14 ⲥⲉⲛⲁϫⲱⲣϫ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲧⲩⲭⲏ ⲛⲟⲩⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲛⲁⲧⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϩⲓⲧϥ ⲉⲡϩⲁⲡ

to give him rest from evil days, until a pit be digged for the sinful one.

15 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϣⲡⲓ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲉⲩⲙⲁⲙⲫⲱⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲁⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲟⲩⲃⲟⲏⲑⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲁϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ

For the Lord will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance;

16 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥⲉⲧⲱⲃ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲟⲩⲁⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲟⲩⲡⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥⲉⲧⲁⲕⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲡⲁⲛⲟⲩϯ

until righteousness return to judgment, and all the upright in heart shall follow it. Pause.
