1 ⲛⲧⲉⲁⲥⲁⲫ ⲉⲡϫⲱⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲓⲇⲓⲑⲟⲩⲛ

2 ⲁⲓⲱϣ ⲛⲧⲁⲥⲙⲏ ⲉⲡⲱϣⲓ ϩⲁⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲧⲁⲥⲙⲏ ⲉⲡⲱϣⲓ ϩⲁⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϯϩⲑⲏϥ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲁϩⲟϫϩⲉϫ ⲁⲓⲕⲱϯ ⲛⲥⲁⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲁϫⲓϫ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲉϫⲱⲣϩ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲙⲑⲟ ⲙⲡⲟⲩϣⲉⲣϩⲁⲗ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ

I cried to the Lord with my voice, yea, my voice was addressed to God; and he gave heed to me.

3 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲡⲉⲥⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲛϫⲉⲧⲁⲩⲭⲏ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩϯⲛⲟⲙϯ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲁⲓⲉⲣⲫⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲙⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓⲟⲩⲛⲟϥ ⲁⲓⲉⲣⲙⲉⲗⲉⲧⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲁⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁ

In the day of mine affliction I earnestly sought the Lord; even with my hands by night before him, and I was not deceived; my soul refused to be comforted.

4 ⲁⲩⲉⲣϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲛⲧⲁϩⲟ ⲛⲛⲁⲙⲁⲛⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲁϫⲁϫⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲁⲓϣⲑⲟⲣⲧⲉⲣ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲁⲓⲙⲟⲕⲙⲉⲕ ⲉϩⲁⲛⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲣⲭⲉⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϩⲁⲛⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ ⲛⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲁⲓⲉⲣⲡⲟⲩⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓⲉⲣⲙⲉⲗⲉⲧⲁⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲉϫⲱⲣϩ ⲛϩⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲁϩⲏⲧ

I remembered God, and rejoiced; I poured out my complaint, and my soul fainted. Pause.

5 ⲛⲁⲓⲥⲣⲱϥⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲓϧⲟⲧϧⲉⲧ ⲙⲡⲁⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁ ⲙⲏ ϥⲛⲁⲭⲁⲧ ⲛⲥⲱϥ ⲛϫⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ϣⲁⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϥⲛⲁⲟⲩⲁϩⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉⲉⲧⲣⲉϥϯⲙⲁϯ

All mine enemies set a watch against me: I was troubled, and spoke not.

6 ⲓⲉ ϥⲛⲁϣⲱⲧ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϣⲁϧⲁⲉ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ϫⲱⲟⲩ ϣⲁϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲙⲏ ϥⲛⲁⲉⲣⲡⲱⲃϣ ⲛϣⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲛϫⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲙⲏ ϥⲛⲁⲧⲁϩⲛⲟ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲙⲉⲧϣⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉϥϫⲱⲛⲧ

I considered the days of old, and remembered ancient years.

7 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲏⲓ ϫⲉϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲉⲣϩⲏⲧⲥ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡϣⲓⲃϯ ⲛⲑⲟⲩⲓⲛⲁⲙ ⲙⲫⲏ ⲉⲧϭⲟⲥⲓ

And I meditated; I communed with my heart by night, and diligently searched my spirit, saying,

8 ⲁⲓⲉⲣⲫⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲛⲛⲓϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ϫⲉϯⲛⲁⲉⲣⲫⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ⲧⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲉⲕϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ

Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be well pleased no more?

9 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯⲛⲁⲉⲣⲙⲉⲗⲉⲧⲁⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲉⲕϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲓⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲓⲙⲏⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲉⲕϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ

Will he cut off his mercy for ever, even for ever and ever?

10 ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲁⲣⲉ ⲡⲉⲕⲙⲱⲓⲧ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲛⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲧⲟⲓ ⲛⲛⲓϣϯ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲧⲓⲣⲓ ⲛϩⲁⲛϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ⲁⲕⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲛⲧⲉⲕϫⲟⲙ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲁⲕⲥⲱϯ ⲙⲡⲉⲕⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲛϩⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉⲕϣⲱⲃϣ ⲛⲉⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃ ⲛⲉⲙⲓⲱⲥⲏⲫ

Will God forget to pity? or will he shut up his compassions in his wrath? Pause.

11 ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟⲕ ⲛϫⲉϩⲁⲛⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟⲕ ⲛϫⲉϩⲁⲛⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ⲁⲩϣⲑⲟⲣⲧⲉⲣ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲓⲛⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲡⲁϣⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲥⲙⲏ ⲛⲧⲉϩⲁⲛⲙⲱⲟⲩ

And I said, Now I have begun; this is the change of the right hand of the Most High.

12 ⲛⲓϭⲏⲡⲓ ⲁⲩϯ ⲛⲧⲟⲩⲥⲙⲏ ⲕⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲉⲕⲥⲟⲑⲛⲉϥ ⲥⲉⲙⲟϣⲓ ⲧⲥⲙⲏ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲉⲕϧⲁⲣⲁⲃⲁⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲧⲣⲟⲭⲟⲥ

I remembered the works of the Lord; for I will remember thy wonders from the beginning.

13 ⲛⲉⲕⲥⲉⲧⲉⲃⲣⲏϫ ⲁⲩⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⲉϯⲟⲓⲕⲟⲩⲙⲉⲛⲏ ⲁϥⲕⲓⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲥⲑⲉⲣⲧⲉⲣ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ

And I will meditate on all thy works, and will consider thy doings.

14 ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲉⲕⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲓⲟⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲉⲕⲙⲁⲙⲙⲟϣⲓ ϧⲉⲛϩⲁⲛⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲟϣ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲉⲕⲧⲁⲧⲥⲓ ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲥⲟⲩⲱⲛⲟⲩ

O God, thy way is in the sanctuary; who is a great God as our God?

15 ⲁⲕϭⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲙⲡⲉⲕⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲉⲥⲱⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲧϫⲓϫ ⲙⲙⲱⲩⲥⲏⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲁⲣⲱⲛ

Thou art the God that doest wonders; thou hast made known thy power among the nations.
