2 ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲟⲩ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲁⲕϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲥⲱⲕ ϣⲁϧⲁⲉ ⲁϥϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲉⲕⲙⲃⲟⲛ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲛⲓⲉⲥⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉⲕⲟϩⲓ .
Wherefore hast thou rejected us, O God, for ever? wherefore is thy wrath kindled against the sheep of thy pasture?
3 ⲁⲣⲓⲫⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲕⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲏ ⲑⲏⲉⲧⲁⲕϫⲫⲟⲥ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ϣⲟⲣⲡ: ⲁⲕⲥⲱϯ ⲙⲡϣⲃⲱⲧ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲣⲟⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ: ⲡⲓⲧⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲥⲓⲱⲛ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁⲕϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ .
Remember thy congregation which thou hast purchased from the beginning; thou didst ransom the rod of thine inheritance; this mount Sion wherein thou hast dwelt.
4 ϥⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲕϫⲓϫ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲧⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧϭⲁⲥⲓϩⲏⲧ ϣⲁⲉⲃⲟⲗ .
Lift up thine hands against their pride continually; because of all that the enemy has done wickedly in thy holy places.
5 ⲥⲉⲟϣ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲓⲡⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲁⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓϫⲁϫⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲏⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲛⲧⲁⲕ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲏⲉⲑⲙⲟⲥϯ ⲙⲙⲟⲕ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲙⲏϯ ⲙⲡⲉⲕϣⲁⲓ .
And they that hate thee have boasted in the midst of thy feast; they have set up their standards for signs,
6 ⲁⲩⲭⲱ ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲡⲓⲉⲙⲓ .
ignorantly as it were in the entrance above;
7 ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲙⲡⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲧⲥⲁⲡϣⲱⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲓⲁϩϣϣⲏⲛ ⲛϣⲉ .
they cut down its doors at once with axes as in a wood of trees; they have broken it down with hatchet and stone cutter.
8 ⲁⲩⲕⲱⲣϫ ⲛⲛⲉⲥⲣⲱⲟⲩⲓ ϧⲉⲛϩⲁⲛⲕⲉⲗⲉⲃⲓⲛ ⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲕⲉⲗⲉⲃⲓⲛ: ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲙⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲩⲥⲟⲡ ⲁⲩⲣⲁϧⲧⲥ ⲉϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲁⲩⲣⲱⲕϩ ⲙⲡⲉⲕⲙⲁ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲭⲣⲱⲙ .
They have burnt thy sanctuary with fire to the ground; they have profaned the habitation of thy name.
9 ⲁⲩⲥⲱϥ ⲙⲫⲙⲁⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉⲕⲣⲁⲛ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ . ⲁⲩϫⲟⲥ ⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲟⲩϩⲏⲧ ⲛϫⲉⲧⲟⲩⲥⲩⲅⲅⲉⲛⲓⲁ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ ⲉⲩⲥⲟⲡ . ϫⲉⲁⲙⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲛⲧⲁⲗϭⲟ ⲛⲛⲓϣⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ: ⲛⲉⲛⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ: ϫⲉϣⲟⲡ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϥⲛⲁⲥⲟⲩⲱⲛⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ .
They have said in their heart, even all their kindred together, Come, let us abolish the feasts of the Lord from the earth.
10 ϣⲁⲧⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ϥϯϣⲱϣ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓϫⲁϫⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧϯⲟⲩⲃⲏⲛ ϥϯϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲙⲡⲉⲕⲣⲁⲛ ϣⲁϧⲁⲉ
We have not seen our signs; there is no longer a prophet; and God will not know us any more.
11 ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲟⲩ ⲭⲛⲁⲧⲁⲥⲑⲟ ⲛⲧⲉⲕϫⲓϫ ⲛⲉⲙⲧⲉⲕⲟⲩⲓⲛⲁⲙ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲙⲏϯ ⲛⲕⲉⲛⲕ ϣⲁⲉⲃⲟⲗ
How long, O God, shall the enemy reproach? shall the enemy provoke thy name forever?
12 ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲛⲟⲩⲣⲟ ϧⲁϫⲱϥ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲁϥⲉⲣϩⲱⲃ ⲉⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲙⲏϯ ⲙⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ
Wherefore turnest thou away thine hand, and thy right hand from the midst of thy bosom for ever?
13 ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲁⲕⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ ⲙⲫⲓⲟⲙ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲉⲕϫⲟⲙ ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲁⲕϧⲟⲙϧⲉⲙ ⲛⲛⲓⲁⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲇⲣⲁⲕⲱⲛ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛⲛⲓⲙⲱⲟⲩ
But God is our King of old; he has wrought salvation in the midst of the earth.
14 ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲁⲕⲗⲉⲥ ⲛⲓⲁⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲇⲣⲁⲕⲱⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲕⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲛϧⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲉⲑⲁⲩϣ
Thou didst establish the sea, in thy might, thou didst break to pieces the heads of the dragons in the water.
15 ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲁⲕⲫⲱϫⲓ ⲛⲛⲓⲙⲟⲩⲙⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲙⲟⲩⲛⲥⲱⲣⲉⲙ ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲁⲕⲑⲣⲉ ⲛⲓⲓⲁⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲧⲁϫⲣⲏⲟⲩⲧ ϣⲱⲟⲩⲓ ⲫⲱⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲫⲱⲕ ⲟⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲉϫⲱⲣϩ ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲁⲕⲥⲟⲃϯ ⲙⲡⲓⲣⲏ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲓⲓⲟϩ
Thou didst break to pieces the heads of the dragon; thou didst give him for meat to the Ethiopian nations.
16 ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲁⲕⲑⲁⲙⲓⲟ ⲛⲛⲓⲑⲱϣ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲡⲓϣⲱⲙ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲓϩⲏⲛϣⲱⲙ ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲁⲕⲑⲁⲙⲓⲱⲟⲩ
Thou didst cleave fountains and torrents; thou driedst up mighty rivers.

The day is thine, and the night is thine; thou hast prepared the sun and the moon.
18 ϫⲟⲩϣⲧ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲧⲉⲕⲇⲓⲁⲑⲏⲕⲏ ϫⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲟⲓ ⲛⲭⲁⲕⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲁⲩⲙⲟϩ ⲛⲛⲓⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲑⲣⲉϥⲧⲁⲥⲑⲟ ⲛϫⲉⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲑⲉⲃⲓⲏⲟⲩⲧ ⲉⲁϥϭⲓϣⲓⲡⲓ ⲟⲩϩⲏⲕⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩϫⲱⲃ ⲉⲩⲉⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲡⲕⲣⲁⲛ
Thou hast made all the borders of the earth; thou hast made summer and spring.
19 ⲧⲱⲛⲕ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲙⲁϩⲁⲡ ⲉⲡⲁϩⲁⲡ ⲁⲣⲓⲫⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲛⲛⲓϣⲱϣ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲁⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲓⲁⲧϩⲏⲧ ⲙⲡⲓⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣϥ
Remember this thy creation: an enemy has reproached the Lord, and a foolish people has provoked thy name.
20 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲡⲉⲣⲉⲣⲡⲱⲃϣ ⲛⲧⲥⲙⲏ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲧⲱⲃϩ ⲙⲙⲟⲕ ⲑⲙⲉⲧϭⲁⲥⲓϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲏ ⲉⲑⲙⲟⲥϯ ⲙⲙⲟⲕ ⲁⲥⲓ ⲉⲡⲱϣⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲕ ⲛⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ
Deliver not to the wild beasts a soul that gives praise to thee: forget not for ever the souls of thy poor.
