1 ⲛⲧⲉⲁⲥⲁⲫ
…
2 ϩⲱⲥ ⲟⲩⲁⲅⲁⲑⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲙⲡⲓⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ⲛⲛⲏⲉⲧⲥⲟⲩⲧⲱⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲟⲩϩⲏⲧ . ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲇⲉ ϣⲁⲧⲉⲛⲕⲉⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲁⲩⲕⲓⲙ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲁⲫⲁⲧ: ϣⲁⲧⲉⲛⲕⲉⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲁⲩⲫⲱⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲁⲧⲁⲧⲥⲓ .
How good is God to Israel, to the upright in heart!
3 ϫⲉⲁⲓⲭⲟϩ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲛⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ . ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲧϩⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓ .
But my feet were almost overthrown; my goings very nearly slipped.
4 ϫⲉⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲉⲙⲧⲟⲛ ϣⲟⲡ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩⲙⲁⲥⲧⲓⲅⲅⲟⲥ .
For I was jealous of the transgressors, beholding the tranquility of sinners.
5 ϫⲉⲥⲉϧⲉⲛ ϧⲓⲥⲓ ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲉⲣⲙⲁⲥⲧⲓⲅⲅⲟⲓⲛ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ . ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲁⲥⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉϯⲙⲉⲧⲣⲉϥϩⲓⲡϩⲟ . ⲁⲩϯϩⲓⲱⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲇⲓⲕⲓⲁ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲁⲥⲉⲃⲏⲥ .
For there is no sign of reluctance in their death: and they have firmness under their affliction.
6 ⲉⲥⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛϫⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲇⲓⲕⲓⲁ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ .
They are not in the troubles of other men; and they shall not be scourged with other men.
7 ⲁⲩⲥⲓⲛⲓ ⲁⲩⲥⲉⲙⲛⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲟⲩϩⲏⲧ: ⲁⲩⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲡⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ .
Therefore pride has possessed them; they have clothed themselves with their injustice and ungodliness.
8 ⲁⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧϭⲓⲛϫⲟⲛⲥ ϣⲁⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉⲡϭⲓⲥⲓ . ⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲥⲉⲙⲛⲏⲧϥ ϣⲁⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉⲧⲫⲉ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲟⲩⲗⲁⲥ ⲁϥⲥⲓⲛⲓ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ .
Their injustice shall go forth as out of fatness: they have fulfilled their intention.
9 ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲉϥⲉⲕⲟⲧϥ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲁⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲉⲡⲁⲓⲙⲁ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϩⲁⲛⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲩϫⲏⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲩⲉϫⲉⲙⲟⲩ ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ .
They have taken counsel and spoken in wickedness: they have uttered unrighteousness loftily.
10 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉⲡⲱⲥ ⲁϥⲉⲙⲓ ⲛϫⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲓⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲉⲙⲓ ϣⲟⲡ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉⲧϭⲟⲥⲓ .
They have set their mouth against heaven, and their tongue has gone through upon the earth.
11 ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲓⲥ ⲛⲁⲓ ϩⲁⲛⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲉⲣⲉⲩⲑⲉⲛⲓⲛ: ⲁⲩⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲣⲁⲙⲁⲟ ϣⲁⲉⲛⲉϩ .
Therefore shall my people return hither: and full days shall be found with them.
12 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉϩⲁⲣⲁ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲉⲫⲗⲏⲟⲩ ⲁⲓⲑⲙⲁⲓⲉ ⲡⲁϩⲏⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓⲓⲱⲓ ⲛⲛⲁϫⲓϫ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲁⲑⲛⲟⲃⲓ .
And they said, How does God know? and is there knowledge in the Most High?
13 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲩⲉⲣⲙⲁⲥⲧⲓⲅⲅⲟⲓⲛ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲙⲡⲓⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣϥ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲁⲥⲟϩⲓ ϣⲁⲛⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲟⲟⲩⲓ ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲓϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ: ϫⲉϯⲛⲁⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ .
Behold, these are the sinners, and they that prosper always: they have possessed wealth.
14 ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲓⲥ ϯⲅⲉⲛⲉⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲉⲕϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲑⲏⲉⲧⲁⲓⲥⲉⲙⲛⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲥ ⲁⲓⲭⲁⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲁϩⲏⲧ ⲉⲑⲣⲓⲉⲙⲓ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲟⲩϧⲓⲥⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲙⲡⲁⲙⲑⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϣⲁϯϣⲉⲛⲏⲓ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ: ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲁⲕⲁϯ ⲉⲛⲓϧⲁⲉⲩ: ⲡⲗⲏⲛ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲇⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲁⲕⲥⲉⲙⲛⲓ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ .
And I said, Verily in vain have I justified my heart, and washed my hands in innocency.
15 ⲁⲕⲣⲁϧⲧⲟⲩ ⲉϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲉⲡϫⲓⲛⲧⲟⲩϭⲓⲥⲓ ⲡⲱⲥ ⲁⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲡϣⲁϥⲉ ⲉⲁⲡⲓⲛⲁ ⲁⲩⲙⲟⲩⲛⲕ ⲁⲩⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲁⲥⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲏⲉⲑⲛⲁⲛⲉϩⲥⲓ .
For I was plagued all the day, and my reproof was every morning.
16 ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲉⲕⲃⲁⲕⲓ ⲉⲕⲉϣⲱϣϥ ⲛⲧⲟⲩϩⲓⲕⲱⲛ ϫⲉⲁϥⲣⲱⲕϩ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲁϩⲏⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϣⲱⲃⲧ ⲛϫⲉⲛⲁϭⲗⲱⲧ .
If I said, I will speak thus; behold, I should have broken covenant with the generation of thy children.
17 ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲓϣⲏϣ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲡⲓⲉⲙⲓ ⲁⲓⲉⲣ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉⲃⲛⲏ ⲛⲁϩⲣⲁⲕ .
And I undertook to understand this, but it is too hard for me,
18 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϯⲭⲏ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲕ ⲛⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ . ⲁⲕⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲛⲧⲁϫⲓϫ ⲛⲟⲩⲓⲛⲁⲙ .
until I go into the sanctuary of God; and so understand the latter end.
19 ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛϩⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉⲕⲥⲟϭⲛⲓ ⲁⲕϭⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲕϣⲟⲡⲧ ⲉⲣⲟⲕ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲱⲟⲩ .
Surely thou hast appointed judgments to them because of their crafty dealings: thou hast cast them down when they were lifted up.
20 ⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ⲛⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲉϯⲟⲩⲁϣϥ ⲛⲧⲟⲧⲕ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛⲡϧⲁϩⲓ: ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩⲛⲕ ⲛϫⲉⲡⲁϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲉⲙⲧⲁⲥⲁⲣ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲁϩⲏⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲁⲧⲟⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ϣⲁⲉⲛⲉϩ .
How have they become desolate! suddenly they have failed: they have perished because of their iniquity.
21 ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲓⲥ ⲛⲏⲉⲑⲟⲩⲏⲟⲩ ⲥⲁⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲙⲟⲕ . ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲣⲡⲟⲣⲛⲉⲩⲓⲛ: ⲁⲕϥⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲕ .
As the dream of one awakening, O Lord, in thy city thou wilt despise their image.
22 ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲅⲁⲑⲟⲛ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲟⲙⲧ ⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲭⲱ ⲛⲧⲁϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲉⲧⲣⲓⲫⲓⲣⲓ ⲉⲛⲉⲕⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲡⲩⲗⲏ ⲛⲧⲉⲧϣⲉⲣⲓ ⲛⲥⲓⲱⲛ .
For my heart has rejoiced, and my reins have been gladdened.
