1 ⲛⲧⲉⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ ⲉⲡϫⲱⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ
…
2 ⲁⲓⲭⲁϩⲑⲏⲓ ⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ . ⲡⲱⲥ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲁ\'ⲩⲭⲏ: ϫⲉϯⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲛⲓⲧⲱⲟⲩ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲟⲩϭⲁϫ .
In the Lord I have put my trust: how will ye say to my soul,
3 ϫⲉϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲓⲥ ⲛⲓⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲁⲩϭⲱⲗⲕ ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲫⲓϯ ⲁⲩⲥⲟⲃϯ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲥⲟⲑⲛⲉϥ ⲉϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲉⲛⲟⲩⲙⲟⲕⲓ ⲉⲡϫⲓⲛϭⲟⲗⲕⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉⲧϩⲏⲡ ⲛⲛⲏⲉⲧⲥⲟⲩⲧⲱⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲟⲩϩⲏⲧ .
Flee to the mountains as a sparrow?
4 ϫⲉⲛⲏⲉⲧⲁⲕⲥⲉⲃⲧⲱⲧⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲭⲁⲩ ⲉϧⲣⲏⲓ: ⲡⲓⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲩⲡⲉⲧⲁϥⲁⲓϥ . ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉϥⲉⲣⲫⲉⲓ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ
For behold the sinners have bent their bow, they have prepared their arrows for the quiver, to shoot For privily at the upright in heart.
5 ⲡⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲁϥⲭⲏ ϧⲉⲛⲧⲫⲉ . ⲛⲉϥⲃⲁⲗ ⲥⲉϫⲟⲩϣⲧ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲛⲓϩⲏⲕⲓ . ⲛⲉϥⲃⲟⲩϩⲓ ⲥⲉϣⲓⲛⲓ ⲉⲛⲓϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ .
For they have pulled down what thou didst frame, but what has the righteous done?
6 ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲛⲁϣⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲡⲓⲁⲥⲉⲃⲏⲥ .
The Lord is in his holy temple, as for the Lord, his throne is in heaven: his eyes look upon the poor, his eyelids try the sons of men.
7 ⲡⲉⲑⲙⲉⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲡϭⲓⲛϫⲟⲛⲥ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲥϯ ⲛⲧⲉϥ\'ⲩⲭⲏ .
The Lord tries the righteous and the ungodly: and he that loves unrighteousness hates his own soul.
8 ϥⲛⲁϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲫⲁϣ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲛⲓⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲟⲩⲭⲣⲱⲙ ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲑⲏⲛ: ⲛⲉⲙⲟⲩⲡⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁ ⲛⲥⲁⲣⲁⲑⲏⲟⲩ ⲑⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲉ ⲧⲧⲟⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲟⲩⲁⲫⲟⲧ .
He shall rain upon sinners snares, fire, and brimstone, and a stormy blast shall be the portion of their cup.
9 ϫⲉⲟⲩⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ: ϩⲁⲛⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲡⲉⲧⲁϥⲙⲉⲛⲣⲓⲧⲟⲩ: ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲥⲱⲟⲩⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲉϥϩⲟ
For the Lord is righteous, and loves righteousness; his face beholds uprightness.
