1 ⲧⲱ ⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ ϯⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲓⲁ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲛⲓⲙⲕⲁⲩϩ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ

2 ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲟⲩ ϩⲁⲛⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲱϣ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϩⲁⲛⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲉⲣⲙⲉⲗⲉⲧⲁⲛ ϧⲉⲛϩⲁⲛⲡⲉⲧϣⲟⲩⲓⲧ . ⲁⲩⲟϩⲓ ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩⲛϫⲉⲛⲓⲟⲩⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲓⲕⲉⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⲁⲩⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲩⲙⲁ ⲉϯⲟⲩⲃⲉ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲉϯⲟⲩⲃⲉ ⲡⲉϥⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ .

Wherefore did the heathen rage, and the nations imagine vain things?

3 ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲛⲥⲱⲗⲡ ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲥⲛⲁⲩϩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉⲛϩⲓⲟⲩⲓ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲕⲉⲛⲁϩⲃⲉϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓϫⲱⲛ .

The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers gathered themselves together, against the Lord, and against his Christ;

4 ⲡⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ϧⲉⲛⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲉϥⲉⲥⲱⲃⲓ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲉϥⲉⲉⲗⲕϣⲁⲓ ⲛⲥⲱⲟⲩ . ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲉϥⲉⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϩⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉϥϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛϧⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛⲡⲉϥⲙⲃⲟⲛ ⲉϥⲉϣⲧⲉⲣⲑⲱⲣⲟⲩ

saying, Let us break through their bonds, and cast away their yoke from us.

5 ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲧⲁϩⲟⲓ ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲛⲟⲩⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲉϫⲉⲛⲥⲓⲱⲛ ⲡⲓⲧⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲛⲧⲁϥ: ⲉϩⲓⲱⲓϣ ⲙⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁϩⲥⲁϩⲛⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ .

He that dwells in the heavens shall laugh them to scorn, and the Lord shall mock them.

6 ⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲓ ϫⲉⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲁϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲁⲓϫⲫⲟⲕ ⲙⲫⲟⲟⲩ .

Then shall he speak to them in his anger, and trouble them in his fury.

7 ⲁⲣⲓⲉⲧⲓⲛ ⲛⲧⲟⲧⲛⲧⲁϯ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲛϩⲁⲛⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲣⲟⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉⲕⲁⲙⲁϩⲓ ϣⲁⲁⲩⲣⲏϫϥ ⲙⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ . ⲉⲕⲉⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩϣⲃⲱⲧ ⲙⲃⲉⲛⲓⲡⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲕⲉⲟⲩⲟϣϥⲟⲩ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲕⲉⲩⲟⲥ ⲛⲕⲉⲣⲁⲙⲉⲩⲥ .

But I have been made king by him on Sion his holy mountain,

8 ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲕⲁϯ: ϭⲓⲥⲃⲱ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧϯϩⲁⲡ ⲉⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ: ⲁⲣⲓⲃⲱⲕ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩϩⲟϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲑⲉⲗⲏⲗ ⲛⲁϥ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲥⲑⲉⲣⲧⲉⲣ .

declaring the ordinance of the Lord: the Lord said to me, Thou art my Son, to-day have I begotten thee.

9 ⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲃⲱ ⲙⲡⲉⲣⲭⲁⲥ ⲛⲧⲉⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ ϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁⲫⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲛⲧⲉϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ .

Ask of me, and I will give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the ends of the earth for thy possession.

10 ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲣⲉϣⲁⲛ ⲡⲉϥϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲙⲟϩ ⲛⲭⲱⲗⲉⲙ . ⲟⲱⲩⲛⲓⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉϩⲑⲏⲟⲩ ⲭⲏ ⲉⲣⲟϥ .

Thou shalt rule them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces as a potter's vessel.
