Masters, give to your servants that which is just and equal, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.

Continue steadfastly in prayer, watching therein with thanksgiving;

3 ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲧⲱⲃϩ ⲁⲙⲁ ⲛⲉⲙⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉϫⲱⲛ ϩⲱⲛ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲡⲓⲙⲩⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉϯⲥⲟⲛϩ ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧϥ

praying together for us also, that God may open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds;

4 ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲁⲟⲩⲟⲛϩϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲥⲉⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛⲧⲁⲥⲁϫⲓ .

Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.

6 ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲉϥⲥⲉϩⲛⲏⲟⲩⲧ ϧⲉⲛⲟⲩϩⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲉⲙⲓ ⲙⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲥⲉⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲙⲫⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲫⲟⲩⲁⲓ .

Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.

7 ⲛⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉϥⲉⲧⲁⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲛϫⲉⲧⲓⲭⲓⲕⲟⲥ ⲡⲓⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏⲧⲟⲥ ⲛⲥⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲛⲇⲓⲁⲕⲱⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛϣⲫⲏⲣ ⲙⲃⲱⲕ ϧⲉⲛⲡϭⲟⲓⲥ .
